Many people usualy wonder where i get my ideas from! Well, that i can say comes automatically when i take a pencil. I never sit down to plan a painting or any other work like many artists do, i just start somewhere and ideas keep flowing from there. My advisor once warned against this saying it may lead to me veering off the theme of the work, but something that keeps me on track is music and mood. Provided those two are available, i just feel it in my system, i mean, something from within. For instance if i’m painting a soldier, i feel like i’m there with him in the battlefield. Most times i consentrate so much that someone calling ma name will have alot of shouting to do unles they switch off the music that will in turn disrupt the mood.
When it comes to color schemes, i choose my colours wisely. As i said my imagination is very broad i can picture any colours togather and the effect they’l have on the viewer. I dont believe in anything like matching colors i believe in combining colors. If a set of colors go togather in a single piece of work, then that creates harmony. On the other hand if they dont, then that creates confusion. Both harmony and confusion are effects i would like my work to have on a viewer. I also use pre existing color schemes to create general appeal. The national flag is a color scheme, isn’t it? If the colors are used togather in a piece then its likely to be aesthetically pleasing to someone from that country, just like that.
So, basically thats how my ideas seem out of this world: doing things differently.

I do my painting on any surface, canvas, paper, leather, wood, plastic and metal. Mostly they consit of graffiti. I like it coz it’s a sort of abstract work that conveys my mood and thoughts to my audience. It’s inborn and thats the reason for my kind of business. I believe art speaks more about the individual hence the reason why i have the client i mind when commencing a project, be it a pair of your “Northstar” canvas shoes or a t shirt.
